Over the years the CTVCA has re-homed many cats for all sorts of
different reasons. We'd like to share some of these with you.
| Pippa and Bella
Pippa (Turkish Van) and Bella (Birman) were rescued in July
1998 from a home where their owner could no longer cope, due to
a long-term illness.
They were happily re-homed together in August 1998 after a
short stay in the Honey Homes. |

Cassie
Cassie came to us in April 1999 from a difficult situation where her
owner was pregnant and could not cope with Cassie's alleged difficult
nature. No problems were encountered with her temperament while
she was in the Honey Homes, and she was
successfully re-homed in June 1999.
| Buttons
Buttons came to the Honey Homes in February 2000. He
had been picked up as a stray a year earlier, but his owners had
decided that, as they were not animal people, he should
be re-homed.
In April 2000 Buttons was happily re-homed.

| Vanessa
Vanessa was taken to an Animal Rescue Centre by someone
alleging that she was a stray.
After being contacted by the centre, she came to us in May
2000 and was found a loving new home in June 2000. |

Oliver and Hannah
Oliver and Hannah arrived at the Honey Homes early in
2001, victims of a broken marriage. Oliver was dirty, depressed,
flea and tick ridden through living outside for most of his life, and
Hannah was also flea infested.
Happily they have both been rehomed with caring and
loving new owners, where they can both flourish and be loved for the
rest of their lives.

All of our rescues and re-homes have thorough health checks and
receive all the necessary medical treatment and vaccinations before
going to their new homes. They all benefit greatly from the time
spent at the Vanessa Homes, and it is only
through the generosity of our membership that we are able to help the
less fortunate cats.
